Inspiration
Born from personal battles with anger and its costly consequences, this app is my pledge to master my emotions for a brighter leadership future. The loss of a friendship to a moment of rage left me questioning: was it destiny parting our ways, was she not a right person at the right time in my life, or was it my unchecked anger? Such reflections led to an epiphany - embracing the worst while aiming for the best. This app mirrors this philosophy, offering a roadmap to transform anger into insightful action, for anyone facing their own tempest of temper.
What it does
The "Angry Scenario" app helps users visualize the potential outcomes of acting on their anger. When a user inputs words or actions they are contemplating in anger, the app predicts and presents both the best and worst-case scenarios. This allows users to consider the consequences of their actions before making a decision, potentially helping to manage their emotions and responses more constructively.
How we built it
- Understanding Personal Issues: The development began with a deep dive into the psychology of anger and personal issues. The goal was to create a platform that not only helps users reflect on their immediate feelings and potential actions but also promotes long-term emotional growth and self-awareness
- Prompt Engineering with PartyRock: We focused on prompt engineering by choosing the main key concepts of the app using PartyRock platform.
- Scenario Generation: The core of the app lies in its ability to generate plausible best-case and worst-case scenarios based on the input via the chatbot.
- Testing: Initial versions of the app were tested to gather feedback on its usability and the relevance of its predictions.
Challenges we ran into
- Interpreting the wide variety of human emotions and intentions from text input is a complex task
- Creating accurate and meaningful predictions for a vast range of potential actions and words is challenging.
- Ensuring the scenarios presented do not inadvertently encourage harmful behavior or misunderstandings.
Accomplishments that we're proud of

- Encouraging the users to be honest on their inputs.
- Providing thoughtful consideration of one's action to choose wisely.
What we learned
