Inspiration

The inspiration behind RelicSwap is deeply personal, rooted in our own experiences with the challenges of managing digital assets in an increasingly fragmented crypto landscape. Like many others, we've felt the frustration of juggling multiple platforms like USSD, mobile and web each with its own set of complexities and limitations. We've faced the anxiety of ensuring our assets are secure, aware of the vulnerabilities that can arise in the decentralized ecosystem. These firsthand struggles ignited our passion to create a solution that not only addresses these issues but transforms them into strengths.

Our journey began with the realization that users, from seasoned investors to curious newcomers, grappled with the complexity and risks associated with managing their assets across disparate platforms. Witnessing the frustration of toggling between interfaces and the anxiety over security vulnerabilities, we envisioned a unified solution. RelicSwap was born out of a passion to bridge these gaps, leveraging cutting-edge technology to create a seamless, secure and intuitive experience. What it does

RelicSwap is a comprehensive digital asset management platform designed to streamline and secure the process of handling cryptocurrencies across various interfaces. It offers a unified solution for users to manage their digital assets seamlessly across USSD, mobile and web platforms. By integrating with multiple blockchain networks such as Celo, Solana and Ethereum, RelicSwap enables users to easily create wallets, check balances in real-time and perform secure fund transfers. The platform prioritizes user-friendly design and robust security measures, ensuring that both novice and experienced users can confidently navigate and manage their digital wealth. RelicSwap aims to simplify the complex landscape of digital assets, providing a cohesive, secure, and intuitive experience for all users.

How we built it

We built Global Relic through an iterative development process focused on user-centric design and robust security. Our approach involved:

Research and Planning: Conducting extensive research on user needs and existing solutions and planning the architecture to integrate USSD, mobile and web platforms with multiple blockchain networks such as Celo, Solana and Ethereum. Technology Stack: We selected a suitable technology stack that includes blockchain integration tools, secure coding practices and responsive design frameworks. Prototyping: We developed initial prototypes to visualize the user interface and experience, followed by user testing to gather feedback and made necessary adjustments. Development: We wrote secure and efficient code to implement wallet creation, balance checking and fund transfer functionalities ensuring seamless interoperability between different platforms and blockchain networks. Security Measures: We implemented advanced security protocols, including encryption and multi-factor authentication, to protect user assets and transactions. Testing and Iteration: Conducting rigorous testing to identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and enhance security. Iteratively refining the platform based on user feedback and testing results. Deployment: Deploying the platform on scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and availability across all user interfaces.

Challenges we ran into
