Relay For Life

Inspiration💡

Many individuals are finding it difficult to pay for their cancer treatment these days, therefore this website is dedicated to raising funds and raising awareness in support of critical cancer research and cancer patients.

What it does💁🏼

With this website we can increase awareness of events and fundraisers hosted by the University of Alberta Relay for Life. We can consolidate our mission, events, Humans of Relay newsletters into one common site that is easy for viewers to navigate.

How we built it⚒

Figma has been a critical collaborative tool during our Designathon. Made a wireframing session on Figma design file and a backend discussion on Fig jam. And the final prototype was made in Figma.

Challenges we ran into🤦🏻‍♂️

Due to the time zone differences we cant able to work together for longer periods of time, Less time and submission issues.

Accomplishments that we are proud of🙌🏻

We are proud of finishing the project on time which seemed like a tough task as we started had so many features to implement.

What we learned💫

Learned how to work consistently as a team to achieve a good output.
