Inspiration
Have you ever had one of those days at work: your boss is being annoying and getting on you about projects he doesn't fully understand or perhaps you're stuck doing some mindless droning task? Instead of utilizing your smoke break to smoke, grab your simulator, kick back and relax.
What it does
Though only a prototype, this simulator could be the next stress ball. Download the app from the Android app store, and lock your phone into your headset. Using the 3D space, you can choose from a multitude of settings, to give you that little vacation away from work AT WORK. Accompanied by the ambient sound effects and a soundtrack of scientifically-proven relaxing music, you can sit at your desk (while on your ten-minute break) and enjoy the peace of mind you deserve.
How I built it
I used the unity engine and used the google cardboard sdk. it was all built using unity C# and photoshop.
Challenges I ran into
Making the apk size as small as possible without losing too much quality in the photos or music
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Completing our very first hackathon and finishing on time
What's next for Relaxy
hopefully stay on the app store and receive some quality upgrade in the future when my skills increase
