Inspiration

In today's scenario, we see a lot of quality service providers that are not able to reach their target market due to. Them being home businesses, small scale businesses (Majority women run in especially in India) and are not able to compete with big-box businesses despite providing a higher quality of service. Our aim is to empower them by guiding them and providing our platform to them to find an entirely new customer base

What it does

Our website acts as an intermediatory platform that connects the sellers to the customers. It gives people from all genders and backgrounds a platform so they can showcase their services and post information about services that they provide so that customers on our platform can see their services and can directly place the orders/Contact them. It connects those local businesses which are offering quality services to customers who are in search of nearby quality services.

How did we build it?

We discussed this problem amongst ourselves and came up with the idea to create a platform where people from all genders and backgrounds can showcase their services and post information about services that they provide so that customers on our platform can see their services and can directly place the orders/Contact them. The team was split further into groups of 2, Rajesh Kumawat and Raunak Sadhwani on the coding aspect of the project. Meanwhile, Mohammed Faizan and Taha Kotwal worked on the white paper and video demonstration. This helped to generate smooth workflow and minimal issues. Each group consulted the other for guidance as and when needed

Challenges we ran into

We faced the usual challenges of any hackathon. The constant pressure of the time constraint. As well as the difference in time zone was a mild issue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of how the team split the work and functioned smoothly throughout the hackathon. All the teammates were supportive and cooperated together to create a positive working environment.

What we learned?

We learned a lot of new things we learned how to use firebase and how to tackle the problems related to real-world and the best thing we learned is time management

What's next for RELAXURY

In the near future, we can add payment gateways to facilitate online payments. And automate the order taking process. To conclude we can empower small scale quality businesses through our platform and also give the customer the luxury of choice. Let us move on to the prototype demonstration.
