Whenever I read a book or watch a show and something crazy happens in it, I automatically want to tell someone. I'm often left having to explain the WHOLE plot thus far before I can get to the crazy part! I thought that a solution to this would be for people to be able to find their show/book on relate, and share their reactions and relate to others. It could go by chapter/episode to avoid spoilers too. This way while people read or watch, they feel as if they are a part of a community where they can share and relate with others.

I just have a very simple site so far, but if I went further it would have a functional search bar where you could search up your book or show and post a little blurb of your thoughts, and others could reply and give it a like or a thumbs up. This is different from an online book club because you don't have any commitment to continuously share your thoughts with others, just when you really want to.

I just built a simple site with HTML and CSS.

I really have no experience with HTML or CSS so I had to read A LOT of documentation and muddle my way through it.

I'm proud that I was able to learn the basics of two languages in one day and make something.

I learned a lot about web design and I find it very fun!

Well, I would probably make a functioning site next, and start out with a base list of books and shows, then people could add their own once there were users.
