Inspiration

Our inspiration for RejuvAI stemmed from a collective desire to revolutionize healthcare and provide accessible, personalized solutions to individuals often overlooked by traditional healthcare systems. We observed a gap in the healthcare industry, where many people struggled to access tailored healthcare guidance and support. Leveraging advanced AI technology, and since we were given the chance to use Google's Gemini AI model, we aimed to address this gap and empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being.

What it does

RejuvAI utilizes the power of Google's Gemini AI Model to offer dynamic, sustainable, and easily accessible healthcare solutions tailored to each individual's unique needs. The platform provides personalized guidance and support across various aspects of healthcare, including disease management, medication recommendations, post-surgery recovery, and mental health support. Through intuitive features and functionalities, RejuvAI aims to enhance users' well-being and empower them to lead healthier lives.

How we built it

We built RejuvAI as a web-based platform, leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to deliver personalized healthcare solutions. We used the Svelte Webkit to get our website started with the traditional HTML/CSS/JS files. Then to implement Gemini into our website, we needed to use Python and Flask to complete the data pipeline. The development process involved extensive research, collaboration, and innovation to ensure that the platform meets the diverse needs of users, so web was a great choice for us! Despite facing various challenges along the way, such as technical complexities and time constraints, our team remained dedicated to delivering a high-quality product that makes a positive impact in the healthcare industry.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the development process, we encountered several challenges that tested our problem-solving skills and resilience. One of the main challenges was integrating Google's Gemini AI Model into the platform and optimizing its performance to deliver accurate and timely responses to user queries. We tried many different methods ranging from FastAPI to REST, but eventually we settled on Flask. Moreover, since this was our first online Hackathon, it was difficult to communicate with eachother sometimes, especially when it came to debugging. Despite these challenges, the two of us remained committed to overcoming obstacles and delivering a robust and reliable solution to submit :)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of several accomplishments achieved during the development of RejuvAI. One notable accomplishment is successfully integrating Google's Gemini AI Model into the platform and harnessing its power to deliver personalized healthcare solutions to users. Now that this has been achieved, we're able to address the needs of all individuals regardless of what conditions they may be facing. Additionally, we are proud of creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface that enhances the user experience and makes healthcare guidance more accessible to individuals.

What we learned

Working on RejuvAI has been a valuable learning experience for our team. We gained insights into the complexities of healthcare systems and the challenges faced by individuals in accessing personalized healthcare guidance and support. Additionally, we learned about the capabilities of advanced AI technology, such as Google's Gemini AI Model, and its potential to transform the healthcare industry. Furthermore, we learned valuable lessons in teamwork, problem-solving, and project management, which will undoubtedly benefit us in future endeavors.

What's next for RejuvAI - Your Personal AI Healthcare Overseer

Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans for RejuvAI to further expand its capabilities and reach a broader audience. We aim to continuously enhance the platform's features and functionalities to provide even more personalized healthcare solutions to users. This includes integrating additional AI models such as DALL-E or even Gemini's Image generation to help users with muscle damage to properly follow through with Physiotherapy exercises. Moreover, we plan to also have a section in our site where users can input their reviews on what they believe to be effective or detrimental for our site. This way, we are able to dynamically adapt to and best adhere to user needs. Ultimately, our goal is to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being and lead healthier, happier lives with the support of RejuvAI.
