Our goal is to encourage visitors to reuse items by offering incentives and making our web app convenient to use.

What it does

Our website encourages users to embrace reusability by highlighting the incentives available for making sustainable choices. With a map feature, we make it easy for visitors to locate drop-off points for reusable items, ensuring a convenient and rewarding experience.

How we built it

The website is built with React, HTML/CSS and JavaScript.

We are proud to have successfully launched a user-friendly website that effectively promotes reusability on Governors Island.

What's next for Reuse Island

We aim to expand our incentive program to include new rewards, potentially incorporating a points system that encourages more participation.
