Project Story

About the Project

Our project, “Reimagining the Web for the Age of AI,” was inspired by a simple question — how do AI systems like ChatGPT or Claude “see” our websites? During the WebMind Innovation Hackathon (Track 4), our team Electric Visionary Grid explored Reimagineweb.dev, a platform that analyzes websites for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — the AI-age evolution of SEO.

We tested our own website, electric-visionary-grid.lovable.app, to understand how AI perceives it. The platform provided in-depth feedback across SEO, GEO, design, and accessibility metrics, revealing key insights:

  • Structured data is essential for AI comprehension.
  • Accessibility directly impacts both user experience and AI interpretation.
  • Content clarity and hierarchy matter more than ever.

This experience transformed our perspective — from building for human visibility to designing for AI understanding. We learned collaboration, data-driven analysis, and how future websites must balance human-centered design with machine readability.

Challenges faced:

  • Understanding how GEO differs from SEO.
  • Translating Reimagineweb.dev’s analytics into meaningful design and content improvements.
  • Communicating these findings effectively through our LinkedIn post to spark awareness.
