Inspiration:
Really wanted to create a personal portfolio so that I can easily link it in my resume or send it to hiring persons.
What I learned:
Although I was previously familiar with Git, I never knew how to set up a personal static site using it. It was super easy to follow along with Robbie from MLH's instructions
Challenges faced:
I'm a beginner to HTML, Ruby and CSS interfacing so the folders containing the site pages, etc was difficult for me to navigate. I kept getting lost in the files. Additonally I was getting problems setting up pictures and changing the font colours, etc. I think I will practice more in HTML, CSS,etc and figure out how to improve on this personal page.
