Inspiration
Millions of people want to work remotely, but finding the right opportunity is very difficult. Job seekers spend hours every day searching different platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, and remote job boards. Many people miss opportunities simply because they cannot find jobs that match their skills.
Rehan Jobs was inspired by the idea that AI should work for people. Instead of users spending hours searching for jobs, AI should automatically find the best opportunities for them.
What it does
Rehan Jobs is an AI-powered remote job discovery platform.
Users upload their CV, and the system analyzes their skills, experience, and job preferences. AI then automatically finds remote jobs that match the user's profile and delivers them daily.
Users can also use an AI search feature where they can ask things like: "Find remote marketing jobs" or "Find remote developer jobs in the US."
The system instantly returns relevant remote job opportunities.
How we built it
The system works in several steps:
- The user uploads their CV.
- AI analyzes the CV and extracts skills, experience, and keywords.
- The platform searches remote job listings from multiple sources.
- AI matches the jobs with the user's skills.
- Matching opportunities are delivered to the user.
The system uses AI models and cloud infrastructure to automate the job discovery process.
Challenges we ran into
One challenge was extracting accurate skills from different CV formats because resumes are written in many styles.
Another challenge was ensuring that job matching is relevant so users receive useful opportunities instead of random listings.
We also focused on building a simple experience so users can easily find opportunities without complicated filters.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built a system that reduces the time required to find remote jobs.
Instead of searching manually across multiple platforms, users receive AI-curated job opportunities that match their profile.
This can help people discover global income opportunities faster.
What we learned
