In the pursuit of harnessing the power of virtual reality for therapeutic applications, we embarked on a journey to create a Unity VR game specifically tailored for post-stroke rehabilitation patients. This project was inspired by the transformative potential of VR in healthcare, particularly in offering engaging and effective rehabilitation experiences for stroke survivors. Throughout the development process, we immersed myself in learning the intricacies of Unity and VR development, focusing on creating an experience that is not only therapeutic but also accessible and engaging for patients with varying degrees of post-stroke motor abilities. The project presented its unique set of challenges, including designing intuitive interactions suitable for patients with limited mobility and ensuring the game's content remained engaging and therapeutically relevant. These challenges were met with a blend of creative problem-solving and technical ingenuity, resulting in a game that we hope will make a significant difference in the lives of those recovering from a stroke.
