The opiate crisis in the United States is getting worse each year, In Baltimore alone the amount of those who overdosed double from 2015 to 2016.

What it does

We realize the main issue is that many people lack the long term support needed to wean off addiction. In the case with non violent drug offenders not having proper medical care is associated with higher relapse and recidivism.

How we built it

We used Sketch App in order to build our product

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was understanding the problem and a specific segment to tap into it. The opiate crisis has many stakeholders and therefore many areas to fix, and so no picking a niche market was pivotal and difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to think of an idea that could potentially aid hundred of thousand people each year in the United States

What we learned

We learned how bad the opiate crisis is, and how addiction is a disorder that can physically rewire someone's brain.

What's next for Rehabilita

Potentially partnering with Blue Cross Blue Shield to implement our solution in Baltimore.
