Inspiration - Our vision is to be the first settlement and networking app that connects newcomers and immigrants into the city of Regina with their immediate surroundings, meet with their basic needs, reliable information, local opportunities and each other which is clearly outlined in the categories.
Our sole aim is to foster and enhance deeper integration and connection into the system through the accessibility of the app. More also, to expand our target audience and deliver information/updates more quickly than ever through push notifications. (A person is more likely to pay attention to notifications from their mobile app than to check the company's website or even the individual's own email.) The app is designed to make accessibility, mobility and adaptability seamless and more user friendly. This app will allow users (newcomers and immigrants) to have easy, functional access to information, products, services and processes that they need in real-time and are optimised for hands-on interaction. Another interesting add-on to this app is the inbuilt forum (just like wikipedia and reddit) for our users to connect, interact, and build connections.
