Inspiration
Why is it so hard to reach financial goes even if there are so many wallet apps around? Too complicated to take down every bill correctly, most of the time if you don't take down your spending on the spot, you just forget when, where, and why did you spend it.
More importantly, people don't reflect on their spending when they note down.
Why is it very easy using Reflet
We help you deal with the when, where, and why of your spending All you need to do is only put down a number, i.e. how much you spent, then we will keep track of when and where you spend it. If you want to go back and sort it out, with the prompt from when and where, you won't forget why you made that transaction.
How Reflet helps you to Reflect
Traditionally, a transaction is categorized based on its description (eg. mobile bills/food/bus fare). However, we provide more than that. We ask you questions on a higher dimension For example, you will see questions like: Is that transaction "necessary"? Does this transaction align with your current financial goals?
We believe with the questions prompt, you get to reflect on each transaction, and eventually, your spending habit will be closely aligned with your financial goals.
Challenges we ran into
We are on a intense timeline Moreover, of course, there are technical issues along the way
Accomplishments that we're proud of
You get to see when and where you spend the money! You get to customize your categorization method, both traditionally and on a higher level. The reflection feature is almost ready.
What we learned
If you are looking for an americano, you can just get espresso and mix it with your own water. It's much faster. Brain functions best before 12am.
What's next for Reflet
We plan to make financial tracking even easier after we implement the receipt scanning feature and connect with digital banks. You don't even need to input anything in the future. Also, a budget feature helps you to set a budget. Reminders to send you notifications. Web
