Our project looks to reduce textile waste globally. Creating new clothes requires enormous amounts of water and energy, especially during the growing process for fabric like cotton, dying, and washing. On top of that, according to the UN's Environment Program, about 92 Million Tonnes of clothing is wasted every single year, destroying our planet. Many of us throw away clothes or just let them sit in our wardrobes while continuing to purchase new ones, adding to this problem. This is why we made ReFit AI, and AI powered app that aims to make sustainable fashion a reality.
