Inspiration

We hoped to create a platform that would allow shoppers to be more conscious of their fashion decisions.

What it does

The app will allow users to take a picture of clothing items they are intending to purchase and return a sustainability score for that item

How we built it

We used React and node.js to build a front-end interface that can be used on mobile web pages. Python and Tensorflow were used to train a machine learning model that could identify various clothing items and tag them for their recyclability, longevity, and other aspects that affect how sustainable the product may be.
