We've all been doomscrollers. We wanted to create an app that helped us study during our final exams and scroll at the same time.

ReelSmart is an app created by 4 students, for students, that prevents you from procrastinating by studying, and the more your studies are right and the questions you answer are right, the more scroll time you are rewarded with.

We built ReelSmart through various AI tools such as Claude Design, Google Stitch, and as well as Claude Code. From there, after receiving the framework, we built off of it. We also used Claude as an AI-into-flashcard tool generator so we used the Claude API key as well.

The main challenge that we faced was finding the right design for the UI and code-wise, getting the Claude API key properly working within the app to generate the flashcards based on the information we provided to it.

We are extremely proud of the demo video as well as the fact of tailoring the design itself to younger students. We also created a website with it's own domain and app with a subdomain.

We learned about various types of different AI tools including Claude Design and Google Stitch. When talking to other people and pitching the potential of the idea, we learned as well as to what works, what doesn't, and what had the most potential.

Next for ReelSmart? Become a billion-dollar startup by integrating into mobile, pushing it to school districts, partnering with SiberX, and getting a custom FYP algorithm.
