Reel Crew is an agentic cinematic reel production crew. A user provides one creative brief, selects a fixed output length, and hires a coordinated AI crew to develop a complete cinematic reel production plan and workflow.

Planned Technology

Reel Crew will use Gemini and Google Cloud Agent Builder to orchestrate the multi-agent production workflow.

For the Parallel track, Parallel Search and Extraction APIs will provide fresh, grounded web intelligence when a creative brief requires factual research, current context, location details, brand information, or other open-web evidence. The research will be assembled into a shared production brief that the crew can use through structured handoffs.

Parallel will support the crew's work without turning Reel Crew into a search dashboard.

Current Status

Scope is locked. Formal implementation has not begun and is scheduled to start near the end of August 2026.

Scope Guardrail

The first release will focus only on the core creative-brief-to-coordinated-crew workflow. It will not add unrelated creator tools, open-ended duration controls, social features, marketplaces, or unnecessary production-management complexity.
