Inspiration

Networking events are chaos. You meet someone, swap cards, say "let's connect" — then the card sits in your pocket for three weeks. By the time you follow up, you've forgotten why you were excited to talk to them. We wanted to kill that gap. What if the moment you met someone, your AI already knew who they were, what their company does, and exactly why you two should work together?

What it does

You scan a business card or drop a LinkedIn URL. Within seconds, a team of AI agents researches the person — their role, their company, recent news, what they're building. Then it generates a private "lead room": a summary of who they are, how their work aligns with yours, and a ready-to-use elevator pitch tailored to that specific relationship. No googling, no note-taking, no forgetting.

How we built it

ReefLink — our agent-to-agent protocol built on OpenClaw. One agent handles intake (card scan / OCR / LinkedIn scrape). Another runs deep research across the web. A third writes the pitch based on alignment between both companies.

They talk to each other directly, share context, and hand off work without a human in the loop. Different AI models, same network. Runs on local hardware — your data stays yours.

Challenges

OCR on crumpled business cards is humbling.

Names get mangled, job titles get creative. We also had to figure out how to keep research fast without hitting rate limits on every public data source at once. And writing pitches that don't sound like a robot pretending to be a salesperson — that took more iteration than we'd like to admit.

What we're proud of

It actually works at conversation speed. You meet someone, scan the card, and before you've finished your coffee the lead room is built. No setup, no config, no "let me get back to you." The agents coordinate themselves.

That's the whole point — AI that does the boring work while you do the human work.
