Inspiration

According to the World Food Programme, one in nine people in the world does not have enough food to lead a healthy, active life. The inspiration for Reduce Hunger comes from the urgent need to address this global issue and find ways to ensure that everyone has access to enough nutritious food.

What it does

Reduce Hunger is a webpage that aims to raise awareness about hunger and provide resources for people who want to take action. The webpage includes information about the scale of the problem, its causes, and its impact on individuals and communities. It also includes links to organizations that are working to reduce hunger and suggestions for how individuals can get involved.

How we built it

We built Reduce Hunger using HTML and CSS. We started by sketching out a wireframe and brainstorming content ideas. We then created the HTML structure and added CSS styles to create a visually appealing design. Finally, we added content and images to fill out the webpage.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced was finding a balance between providing enough information about the issue of hunger without overwhelming the user. We also had to ensure that the webpage was accessible to all users, including those with visual or cognitive impairments.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a webpage that can make a difference in people's lives. We hope that Reduce Hunger can inspire people to take action and make a positive impact on the world.

What we learned

Through building Reduce Hunger, we learned about the scale and complexity of the issue of hunger. We also learned about the many organizations and individuals who are working to reduce hunger and the different approaches they are taking.

What's next for Reduce Hunger

In the future, we hope to expand Reduce Hunger to include more resources, such as videos and interactive tools. We also hope to partner with organizations that are working to reduce hunger to provide more direct support and resources to those in need.
