Inspiration
Organizations often fail because the people creating strategies are the same people validating them. Inspired by military and cybersecurity red teaming, we wanted to bring adversarial thinking into everyday business decisions and help teams find weaknesses before execution.
What it does
RedTeam is an AI-powered multi-agent system that stress-tests strategic decisions. Users can upload business plans, IPO documents, or market proposals, and multiple AI agents analyze them from different perspectives:
- CFO Agent: Finds financial inconsistencies and unrealistic metrics
- Market Agent: Challenges demand assumptions and competitive advantages
- Legal Agent: Identifies governance and compliance risks
- Competitor Agent: Evaluates market threats
- Execution Agent: Tests organizational ability to deliver
A Synthesis Agent combines insights and provides a final verdict: Proceed, Caution, or Do Not Proceed.
How we built it
We built RedTeam using:
- Google ADK for multi-agent orchestration
- Gemini models for reasoning and analysis
- Vertex AI Vector Search for contextual retrieval
- Document AI for document understanding
- Cloud Run and Firestore for scalable deployment
The system can also connect with internal company knowledge sources like Salesforce, Notion, and Confluence.
Challenges we ran into
Building independent agents with different viewpoints was challenging. We had to ensure agents produced meaningful criticism instead of repeating the same conclusions, while maintaining accuracy, context awareness, and reliable synthesis.

- Built a complete AI-driven strategic review system
- Created adversarial agents that challenge decisions from multiple angles
- Demonstrated real-world risk detection using the WeWork case study
- Developed a framework for AI-assisted decision validation
What we learned
We learned that AI can be more valuable when it challenges human thinking rather than simply assisting it. Reliable AI decision systems need diverse perspectives, verification, and structured reasoning.
What's next for RedTeam
We plan to add more expert agents, deeper enterprise integrations, improved risk scoring, and make RedTeam a complete AI strategy review platform for organizations.
