I like the Devpost website a lot, but I wanted it to be little standout with colours

I have created a design of the small portion of Devpost website in Figma. I added some colors to the fields that looks little dull right now

I'm not a designer, but I tried to design Devpost website in my style, I didn't even know much color combinations will work and which tools must be used for what
