Inspiration
While the original Yale School of Art website is a wonderful display of collaborative ingenuity and creativity, it, in my opinion, lacks the basic organization to make it user-friendly and easily navigable. As the website for the Yale School of Art I thought it could use a little sprucing-up in the graphic design department.
What it does
Reorganizes and redesigns the Yale School of Art website.
How we built it
Sketched out on a notepad.
Challenges we ran into
There were so many pages and information from the original website, so I only wireframed the home page and the exhibitions page as samples. These would inspire the same theme/format for the rest of the pages.
What's next for Redesign a Website
Since the website is supposed to be editable, my design would incorporate this feature. And hopefully, the fresh, organized layout would inspire the next editor to maintain the same level of navigability.
