Reddit Lens Personas

Inspiration

Reddit histories reveal interests, tone and expertise. This app turns any public profile into a readable persona.

What it does

Paste a reddit.com/user link, fetch up to 50 posts + 50 comments via PRAW, generate a persona with OpenAI, download it as text.

How I built it

• Python + Streamlit UI (see intern/reddit_user_persona.py)
• PRAW for profile scraping, OpenAI for persona synthesis
• Note: needs your own Reddit + OpenAI API keys to run

Challenges

Rate limits on profile scraping and keeping personas grounded in cited posts.

What I learned

LLM persona prompting with source grounding.
