Reddit IQ – Hack Reddit 2025 Submission
Inspiration
Often, I wonder what makes someone truly "Reddit smart" - the ability to craft the perfect comment, predict viral content, or understand community norms. This inspired me to create a game where players can test their "Reddit IQ" through a series of fun, engaging challenges.
Instead of a single predictable experience, I built a dynamic system with 6 different mini-games that test various aspects of Reddit intelligence. This ensures players get a comprehensive measure of their Reddit skills—offering a fun way to see how they stack up against the community.
What It Does
Reddit IQ is a experience where players complete 6 different challenges to determine their overall Reddit intelligence quotient. The games evaluate different Reddit-related skills
Gameplay Flow:
Starting the Experience:
- Players begin by randomly given one of 6 different mini-games
The 6 Games:
- Guess that Star: Guess which famous person is attributed to the pictures or emojiis
- Subreddit Matcher: Guess which subreddit matches the photo and title
- Reddit Recap: Fun trivia questions to see if you got a knowledge of a particular sub.
- Upvote Battle: Compare karma across posts and choose the larger one.
- Meme Memory: Test your memory of photos and memes to see when they were released.
- Name That Pasta: Fill in the blanks of famous copy pastas and quotes.
Final Score:
- AI calculates your overall Reddit IQ based on performance across all games
Sharing on Reddit:
- Players can post their Reddit IQ score to share with friends and challenge others
