Inspiration

We wanted to make Reddit trends more engaging and accessible by visualizing subreddit discussions in a fun, interactive way.

What it does

Reddit Interactive Word Cloud analyzes posts and comments from any subreddit, generating a dynamic, physics-based word cloud that highlights trending topics in real time.

How we built it

We used the Reddit API to fetch subreddit data, processed text with Python for keyword extraction, and visualized the results using a JavaScript physics engine for interactive word clouds.

Challenges we ran into

Handling large volumes of Reddit data efficiently and ensuring real-time updates without lag were challenging. Fine-tuning the physics for smooth interactions also took time.
