Inspiration

social justice and helping people who have been disadvantaged from the very start and ensure that they have a level playing field when it comes to the medical profession and health care.

What it does

It helps refugees living in refugee camps get blood and medical treatment as soon as they might need it i.e. instantaneously.

How I built it

using Java and xml on Android studio

Challenges I ran into

working out the details of what the app will do and how the refugees will use the app

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

working on a team and learning how to work with android studio

What I learned

that there are many components to building an app i.e. we had teammates who came up with the idea and then we had teammates who did the coding and lastly designing.

What's next for Red Request

implementing red request on a more grander scale and ensuring that it is of use to a plethora of other refugee camps.
