This is a game concept mainly inspired by Disco Elysium and Pathologic 2 with a lot of visual influence from FAITH: the unholy trinity and Sword and Sworcery.
The main concept is there is a town with a mysterious red glowing moon which never sets and where the sun never shines. Recently however a chunk of the moon has crashed into the town and destroyed all of it outside of the local inn. You are a detective sent to investigate the town and find a source for the crash.
The game is built around a very unique art style which uses only a 4 color palette which is meant to highlight the most important details of a character with the lightest color. This is designed to enhance the detective gameplay so that you can easily see the details which are noteworthy on a character in their portrait for interrogations.
The art style for the game taught me a lot about environment and character design due to the limitations in the color and outline styles. This was also the biggest challenge as it was pretty difficult to make sure each character stood out from each other as well as making sure they were visible on the background.
