Our project is a red light, green light game. Players can partake in the game by wearing an over-the-shoulder accessory for controlling and seeing the state of the game. The position of the player can be shown on a large display such as the Color Kinetics Media Lights at Watt Family Innovation Center.

We used a combination of C++ and JavaScript to interface with both the hardware on the Raspberry Pi and the hardware on the large display. On the hardware side, we experimented with ultrasonic sensors, LCD/RGB backlights, and an LED light strip.

Some troubles we ran into were conflicts with the programming languages that we knew meaning that we couldn't all effectively work on the same code. In addition, our hardware was not easily connected to the software that we wrote so a few flex goals we had were not met.

Ultimately, we made a successful project that accomplishes our goals of making a red light, green light game that involves one's own body. We hope that we can play it on the big screen outside Watt one day!
