Students may be scammed and exploited by overseas landlords. Access to reasonably priced local or Asian cuisine. Asian cuisine expensive and often described by students as ‘not nice to eat’. Students unsure of where to find good food Most students turn to cooking, but unsure which grocery store is more valuable for money for certain items and price of items in particular grocery stores Access to local groceries with asian supermarket products may be difficult. (e.g local sauces, noodles) as they are not common and students may not know where to find them Lack of information Students may experience a lack of information regarding school or academic related matters Returning students may face lack of information regarding job opportunities or recent trends in local job market due to being overseas for too long.
