Inspiration

Nigeria generates some 32 million tones of waste per year, of which 2.5 million tones is plastic waste. The country’s disposal, recycling and waste management system is very inefficient, dealing with both plastic and non-plastic waste, most of which (70%) ends up in landfills, sewers, beaches and water bodies.

Plastic recycling sites/plants have not been effective in combating the menace.

What it does

To incentivize and engage Nigerians to properly dispose off plastic waste, while curbing the plastic waste menace in the process.

How I built it

We used html, CSS and JavaScript for the website and for the prototype app we made use of Figma

Lack of adequate network to speed up research process, inadequate of resources
