  THE MODEL OF OUR IDEA

Inspiration -

This Idea has been inspired by our surroundings, especially daily wage workers and many industries that require attention to hazardous problems.

What it does -

Our model is essentially a shoe designed to meet the needs of people in different occupations, catering to the standards of every individual or group. Now this shoe is waterproof, chemical resistant, and heat resistant which ticks all the marks for various industries that require such changes.

How we built it -

We have designed this shoe model using various types of plastic involved in the making of personal packaging equipment also ensuring usage and comfort, and keeping in mind the different real-life scenarios we aim to address. We want to integrate these shoes in medical laboratories, nuclear facilities, waste collectors, etc. As you can see, the model comes with detachable straps which can be used for extra protection and grip, preventing wear and tear. We have tried to incorporate different scenario problems dynamically for different usages.

Challenges we ran into -

Finding the right materials and combinations of plastic to make this shoe, We were skeptical about using certain types of plastic that might be hazardous. Nevertheless, we have overcome the problems by replacing them with a completely safe-to-use method of plastic recycling material.

Accomplishments that we're proud of -

As we are aiming for a full-fledged sustainability project, some of our accomplishments are cost-friendly alternatives for recycling as well as a zero-waste factory using sustainable energy such as green energy, and solar-powered machinery.

What we learned -

For an idea to be developed, many steps must be taken keeping in mind the needs of our citizens and being conscious of the tools to develop the idea. Also, we felt that empathizing with people has led to addressing the problems faced in our surroundings.

What's next for RECYCLING PLASTICUS -

We want to ensure the reach of our idea to different parts of the world, hence solving major problems regarding plastic disposal and recycling. We are working for a better societal change for many daily wage workers as well as industries to minimize the hazardous impacts on the employees. As mentioned earlier, our goal is 360-degree sustainability through our product as well as the process involved in its application.
