Inspiration

We enjoy competitive type of games that also foster a sense of cooperation such as Overcooked.

What it does

Two players run around the map collecting and depositing trash into their respective bins to gain points. If they deposit the trash into the wrong bin, they lose a point. Whoever has the most points at the end wins! However, beware to not let too much trash accumulate or else both players will lose!

How we built it

We used Unity, Free Unity assets, and scripted using C#.

Challenges we ran into

Lots of bugs with picking up items, sorting items, managing the level state, as well as collisions with the spawning trash.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The entire thing.

What we learned

Importing Unity assets, version control, collaborating on different parts simultaneously, communication.

What's next for Recycled!

Outlines for falling items to see better, a loading screen, progress bar for trash, more skins, more maps, special powerups.
