Inspiration
Our inspiration came from a YouTube short in which a foreigner in Germany is trying to recycle but dumps all his garbage in the recycling bins and after one year living in Germany he manages to dispose of everything correctly
What it does
It scans the bar code of a product and it will ask chatGPT on the best way to properly dispose of it.

We ran into several challenges especially where the application worked in strange ways
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The accomplishment that we are proud of is making a functional website in two days being first time hackers
What we learned
We learned the importance of working in a team and the importance of documentation
What's next for Recycle Mate
We will be working on softcoding the ChatGPT function as well as creating a mobile app for the website.
