Recycle AI

Inspiration

In the past, my favorite projects that I've made all used AI in some form, so I decided to combine that with this semester's theme - sustainability.

What it does

It takes an image as input, and responds giving sustainability advice related to whatever is in the image.

How I built it

I used Python for all of the backend code and Figma for the GUI elements. I used APIs from OpenAI and Microsoft to do the image and language processing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm really proud of the GUI. I don't have much experience making GUIs, and I think it turned out well.

What's next for Recycle AI

I'd love to make the mobile version fully functional.
