Inspiration
We found that our local parks and rec department makes signing up for sports a very intricate process, we wanted to make it simple enough for anyone to use.
What it does
RecTech allows parents to easily sign their child up for recreational sports.
How we built it
The RecTechs team used code.org to design and code the app.
Challenges we ran into
The registration process was fairly difficult to debug but we liked the challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Once we did get the registration code working we were very proud of that. We also added a hide/show password feature on the login screen which was an achievement for our team.
What we learned
RecTechs learned how to communication is the most important goal to overcoming issues in a project. Communication was our number 1 ally while debugging our code.
What's next for RecTechs
RecTechs would like to make this app more functional by adding your location of where your sport will be played relative to where your child lives among with other intricate features.
