As high school students, we have first hand experience with struggle, and know how some students are reluctant to reach out and get help, and often when they do, it is difficult for them to find a tutor that they can really connect with. Our application/website helps students from local school districts connect with each other to give and receive academic support. This allows tutees to have tutors that can advise them on their current academic needs.

We learned some basics of html and javascript and css and used them to code a basic website template, and use Figma to develop a design interface for our application As beginners in the world of coding, it was a little difficult to figure out all of the logistics behind developing our projects. As this is our first Hackathon, we felt overwhelmed initially.

We are proud of learning the basics html and learning the basics of Figma and collaborating efficiently with each other to get a desired product.

We learned that it is important to challenge ourselves and communicate with our peers, because everyone has a different way of approaching things and different perspectives can help us develop our ideas further.

What's next for recrUter tutoring service- We hope to develop recrUter into a real tutoring application and test it locally first to get feedback and improve.
