Inspiration
I have been in the recruitment industry for almost 5 years now and I have seen how inefficient it is despite the immense potential. This is costing the agencies, employers and candidates.
What it does
RecruitMate will be the AI assistant that can turbocharge the productivity of Recruiters by 20 times. Starting with Donna the screening AI agent that will be able to help screen the candidates and create a shortlist as well as assessing culture fit. It can then help schedule interview with the hiring manager. Mike the business Development Agent will be able to do lead generation, nurturing and understand buyers intent to help the human recruiter focus on the leads with the highest probability of success. It will be able to then provide summary and strategies for the human recruiter to use the information and strategies to close more deals. Harvey is the AI agent manager who will be able to orchestrate tasks for Donna and Mike to be able to balance Demand and Supply by reverse marketing suitable candidates to the potential employer. It can also coach human recruiters on their goals, KPIs and strategies to achieve better results.
How we built it
We used Lovable vibe coding platform to use prompt and Meta AI image generator to create the profile pictures of Donna, Mike and Harvey. We also interviewed a lot of recruiters and agency owners to validate these pain points and have 3 pilot customers who can test the platform and use once it is launched. We want to integrate Tavus to also help with video calls via AI persona for initial screening calls.
Challenges we ran into
Building the actual platform that will be fully functional and perform the tasks with accuracy. We also want to implement lookalike candidates based on past successful placements.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Have 3,000 candidates profile and 5 potential clients in Australia and New Zealand who said they will use the platform once built.
What we learned
We learnt that accuracy of matches is very important for recruiters and we need to help them make the right match by taking a few other factors beyond just resume that could be relevant for job.
What's next for RecruitMate
We want to start building Donna and have the soft launch of Donna with the pilot customers. We can raise further funding to enhance our technology prowess to build Mike and Harvey. We can then expand to cross-border recruitment to help job seekers around the world find opportunities in countries struggling to find talents.
