- Inspired to simplify recruiting by automating resume filtering and ranking
- Learned to design clear filtering rules and a simple, transparent scoring system (skill points capped at 10, fixed qualification checks)
- I built the project by developing algorithms to parse resumes and job descriptions, applying filtering logic to exclude unqualified candidates, and calculating skill-based scores for ranking
- I created a comparison feature that displays candidate details side-by-side for easy evaluation
- Faced challenges balancing strict filtering with flexibility and ensuring the comparison view is user-friendly
- Gained experience in algorithm design and user-focused AI tools, applying prompt engineering skills to recruiting
