What inspired us
Missed commitments often create a second problem: the recovery plan hides its assumptions. Recovery Ledger makes that transition inspectable.
What it does
Recovery Ledger is a local-first timeline for commitments, slips, and recovery actions. A user can mark a commitment recoverable, change the available-time constraint, and see a transparent next action while the original effort and dependency remain visible.
How we built it
The prototype uses a small browser interface with a transparent rule bounded by available minutes and remaining effort. The demo uses a synthetic recycling-audit task to connect the idea to the Earth Forward theme.
What we learned
Showing the constraint, remaining effort, and state transition makes a recovery plan easier to inspect and revise than hiding it behind an opaque score.
AI-use disclosure
AI coding assistance was used for brainstorming, implementation drafting, and debugging. The project owner reviewed the implementation and remains responsible for understanding and explaining the code.
