Project Description: The only way we’re coming out of this alive is if we do it together.

HelpNow aims to bring communities together to provide relief and resources to those affected by natural disasters.

With recent California natural disasters, HelpNow works by crowdsourcing disaster relief resources in privacy and real-time. We encourage more meaningful connections to nurture community; volunteers can check in on those they’ve helped out and help seekers can give back or just show gratitude down the line.

In today’s news climate, feeds overwhelm and contain inaccurate content. Our "Information" compiles reputable/relevant sources and venues like local mutual aid funds that will directly give back.

We design inclusively with colors suitable (WCAG guidelines) for visual-impairedness, varying languages, etc. Future-wise, we'd partner with local and national organizations to manage large-scale efforts (satellites, clothing..).

HelpNow runs on compassion uniting us after crises to help each other, regardless of preconceived biases. It’s you.
