Currently, the winner announcement is dull, it should be more like an award ceremony with the recorded video.
It would be great to include keynote speeches from various stakeholders in the hackathon and create a library of these videos on platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.
Devpost could create a separate tab for these videos, which would inspire and motivate more users to participate in hackathons and feel more connected.
It could be a key factor in why events like Unleashed-Atlassian generated more excitement than other similarly-prized hackathons.
It would be great to start implementing this feature for larger hackathons, at the very least.
