Inspiration

Most writers (Poets, Novelists, Rappers, etc.) need a place to write their stories on the Internet from mobile devices.

As well as other media artists, they have the chance to create NFT, but it is hard to do it when they don’t have technical skill.

What it does

A simple way to publish texts on distribute servers as NFT.

How we built it

We created a Web app to save text drafts. When the writer feels his text is done, he can publish it as NFT. In this hackathon we focused in resolve how to storage published files in decentralized Storj, so in near future NFT can be saved in a faster and secure way.

Challenges we ran into

  • How the S3-compatible library works.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Ability to communicate despite all members speaking different languages (English was not the primary language of the members).
  • Ability to coordinate tasks to achieve objectives.

What we learned

  • Improve our Git skills.
  • Learn new frameworks and apps.

What's next for Digital Writers NFT Application

Bring more functions to users like Author Home Pages, Public interfaces for recent published text, Category and labels, etc. and obviously release NFT feature.

We use Storj to keep in a secure and decentralized cloud published texts by writers.

We are...

...three hackers from three different continents, who met on this Devpost hackathon. We shared our skills to improve access to all writers who do not own a personal computer.
