Inspiration
Many people around the world do not know how to properly recycle or simply do not recycle. This causes an accumulation of extra trash and pollution in our environment. This build-up of potentially recyclable items as trash negatively affects ecosystems globally.
What it does
To provide a convenient means of recycling with a linked app and incentive in order to motivate people to recycle and to recycle correctly. Recyclable drop-off “Ecohubs” are connected to an app that allows users to track their amount of recycled items, providing users with a cash-back reward and connecting them to other users in their community. This application connects users to a recycling tracking system and provides the incentive for participating in recycling everyday-use items. The app will also display environmental causes to donate to with user balance.
