Inspiration

The Theme of the Hackathon was cooking food, So what can beat the taste of freshly home cooked recipes. That is how this project idea came to my mind

What it does

You can search for recipe that you want. It will fetch data Edamam recipe search API

How we built it

It uses Flask for back-end, Edamam Recipe Search API for fetching data, HTML and Bootstrap for front-end.

Challenges we ran into

It was my first time to work with flask and use an API for fetching data. It was kind of tough to select an API among the options provided by internet. I had to learn minimal flask in a day. Thanks to previous knowledge of Django it wasn't that much tough

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I learnt Flask and how to use APIs. I was able to make a functional project in the allotted time.

What we learned

I learnt how to use flask and API. I also learnt a lot regarding requests module in python.
