Problem Statement
It's Saturday, 11:30 am. You just got up, and your stomach is begging you to put something inside. You open the fridge. 2 scenarios:
Scenario 1: Your fridge is full of stuff: fish, lamb, green onions, tomatoes, eggs... OMG there're just too many choices of combination, but you don't want to spend the time and calories to think about what to do, or maybe you're like us choisters, battling with food choices three time a day. Maybe you're just new at cooking, and don't know any easy-to-cook recipes. What's the easiest/fastest meal you can make?
Scenario 2: You're used to making several sets of meals, but now, you lack some of the ingredients you used to use, and you don't want to risk a tasteless meal. You also don't want to go to the nearest market, which is at least 15 minutes away, and always crowded. Or perhaps you just want to try something new. What can you make out of what's left in the fridge?
Don't worry. 1min Feast is here to help.
How To Use
You just need to take a photo of your fridge and upload. Our advanced machine learning algorithm (Read: API) can recognize what ingredients are in your fridge (now only supporting vegetables and meat), and scrape several popular recipe websites like allrecipes.com for recipes, find you the time needed to prepare the meals, as well as generate you a difficulty score based on time, number of steps needed, and number of ingredients involved. Choose your favorite and we'll direct you staight to the recipe website!
