Inspiration

The average college student doesn’t know what’s in their fridge, or better yet, what to do with the food in the fridge. As a result, they end up eating out and wasting tons and tons of groceries.

What it does

Our app, Prepper, aims to help college students plan out their meals with the food they already have existing in their fridge. In the absence of ingredients, the AI improvises and modifies it accordingly

How we built it

We used streamlit, and python, as well as firebase for the database

Challenges we ran into

We had a lot of errors with Google Cloud, and we had to research a lot into Google Cloud before implementing

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to get the generative AI running, and it was able to tackle any loopholes such as putting meat in the ingredients section but putting the dietary preference as vegan/vegetarian
