Inspiration
A receipt is the one document you only need when something goes wrong. By then the thermal paper has faded, the photo is buried among thousands of others, and nobody remembers how long the warranty was. Sellers still ask for proof of purchase, UGREEN included.
What it does
Receipt & Warranty Vault is a Uliya Skill for UGREEN AI NAS. Ask "Are my headphones still under warranty?" and it searches the albums and folders you allow, reads the receipt, and answers with the end date, the calculation and the evidence file.
It also tells you whether an item can still be returned and which warranties end soon, and it reads receipts in several European languages. It can keep a dated warranty register, tag receipts, build a Receipts album and prepare a claim folder with copies of the evidence and a draft letter. Nothing is written without your confirmation, and originals are never moved or deleted.
How it's built
- Built with the official UGOS Skill Creation Tool (uliya-skill-kit 0.7.3).
- Pure orchestration in Markdown: SKILL.md delegates to the NAS photo, file, document and knowledge experts. No scripts.
- Passes the official static check with 0 errors and 0 warnings.
Challenges
Designing for a small on-device model: short, self-contained instructions, batches of 20 files, and honest handling of empty, partial and unreadable results.
