Rebus, the app that makes banking hassle free, let users book an appointment in the bank providing them easy access to counter transactions

Inspiration

The idea is inspired on mobile booking apps where users can book hotels, flights, grab food etc. So why not, make an app that books an appointment in your bank's branch making it less time consuming to settle your transaction.

What it does

Rebus, is a booking app that intelligently returns the top three nearest branch based on your location. BROWSE a branch to check the information of the following: number of transactions based on your transaction type, the distance and time to take you there, time of accommodation and queue number.

Once you have already chose the branch you want, just BOOK the appointment and you will receive a confirmation number.

Present this at the counter and the bank will already process and will just validate the transaction. Your transaction is already BANKed

How We built it

We built Rebus using AI and machine learning tools provided by Google/Google Cloud Platform/Google ML Kits and integrated FFDC APIs to it.

FFDC Integrations

Rebus is integrated with two categories of FFDC API's: Consumer and Corporate banking. We used the APIs for account creation and retrieval, and bank information retrieval.

What's next for Rebus

The future for Rebus is integrating Google Assistant for hands free use of user. Currently, Rebus together with Google Assistant is being trained and deeply linked to anticipate the phrases will use to book an appointment.
